The most memorable moment of Christmas morning in Sunny Cincinnati was when Isabella climbed down the steps to find that Santa granted her one and only wish. To quote a very excited two year old, "He did! He did! Santa brought Big
Elphie"! Waiting for her in front of the tree with a big green bow around his neck was a two and a half foot standing plush elephant. It felt
sooooo goood to boost her faith in good
ol' Saint Nick. Since she's just beginning to understand what Christmas is all about and why we celebrate Jesus' birthday, we made the magic of Christmas explode in our daughter's heart and hopefully in her memory too. Sweet little Sam was more excited watching his big sister open gifts than he was trying to unwrap his own. His favorite toy turned out to be a light up, funny sound steering wheel. Oh, and he really loved all the wrapping paper, joy of joys nothing beats a big balled up piece of paper when you're 8 months old! After presents, a big
Mexican dinner with Nana & Poppy, and lots of picture taking we lit candles on the cake and sang happy birthday to Jesus. Bella got to blow out the candles.
Big Elphie!/ Vroom, vroom Sammy!
